Key Ingredients & Their Heritage
-
Wild Canadian Chaga Mushroom Chunks: Sustainably harvested from living birch trees, Chaga is a celebrated ingredient in traditional boreal forest preparations.
-
Organic Turmeric Chunks: A golden rhizome used for centuries in traditional cooking and herbal traditions, adding a warming, spicy depth to every cup.
-
Wild Canadian Rosehips: Bright, tart berries that add a touch of natural sweetness and a vibrant, fruity note to every cup.
-
Wild Canadian Birch Bark: Ethically gathered from fallen limbs, birch bark lends a smooth, subtle vanilla-like finish to the tea.
Traditional Preparation Ritual
For the most flavourful brew, we recommend a slow-simmer method to fully draw out the rich character of the chunks:
-
Simmer: Combine 1 tablespoon of the tea blend with 16 oz of water.
-
Slow Brew: Simmer on low for 15–20 minutes, or use a crockpot for an 8–12 hour overnight infusion.
-
Reuse: Don’t toss the chunks! Chaga chunks can be re-steeped up to 3 times until the tea no longer brews a dark, rich brown.
Each 50g pouch yields approximately 14–16 cups of tea.
